The association of the old students of the Ugiogo grammar school Aiwerioba led joy to the students of their Alma Mater in Ugoneki, an area of ​​the local government of Uhunmwonde in the state of Edo. The Association has donated 50 couples of school uniforms, five personalized exercises books and set of mathematical tools of Oxford to each secondary school students who count over 50 who have not yet had one. In addition, 29 senior secondary school students have also received free mathematical tools.

This type of gesture, motivated by a passion to revive the lost glory of the school, has brought smiles on the faces of the students. When the former students arrived at school on October 2, 2025, many Junior students did not wear uniform due to the lack of supply. However, after receiving the donations, their appearance turned and seemed “handsome students”.

The students named Teofilo and Emmanuelle from JSS 1 expressed their gratitude to the former students, praying for the continuous blessings. The vice principal, heyosun Andrew, representing the principal, appreciated the generosity, noting that it is the first time since the start of the school. He appealed for further donations, in particular chairs and desks, since current ones are insufficient.

The Deputy Secretary General of Alumni Association, Mrs. Itohan Ogiogo, said that the Association aims to assist students and restore the ex -school glory. Since this act of kindness will not only provide essential resources, but will also inspire students to fight for size. He encouraged the others who benefited from their Alma Mater to return to their communities.
