The Island AllStars PatrickLingo Super League 2026 is nearing its halfway mark, and the Lagos Business School Sports Arena is gearing up for another Saturday of football comedy, championship calculations and potential emergency repairs when Week 5 begins on October 31.
In the opening match at 8:30 a.m., Zudachi Construction will take on Wellborn Hotels in a battle between builders protecting their undefeated foundations and hoteliers desperately seeking a comfortable night’s sleep.

Zudachi has collected five points in three games, but successive draws against Daily Manna and Jendol have slowed down his construction project.
Now the builders arrive with cement, blocks, and a demolition notice, hoping to turn Wellborn’s defense into an abandoned building!
But Wellborn Hotels has had enough of leaving its opponents in the victory suite.
After winning their first match against Daily Manna, the hotel boys suffered back-to-back losses to Remed and Jendol before enjoying a day off in week four.
Maybe the management took advantage of that break to change the sheets, repair the leaky defense and fire the imaginary receptionist who keeps handing opponents the keys to the goal!
But the real blockbuster comes at 10:30am, when Jendol Superstores welcomes league leader Remed Healthcare in a battle between a supermarket that refuses to close and a pharmacy currently selling championship drugs.
Jendol remains unbeaten on five points after Chibuike redeemed his missed penalty with a 57th-minute equalizer against Zudachi last weekend.
The supermarket guys now want to put Remed’s six-point lead into a special discount: BUY ONE GOAL, GET THREE FREE POINTS!
Unfortunately for Jendol, Remed Pharmacy does not run a charity program.
Inspired by captain Uche Ifemeleduike’s brace against Daily Manna, Remed rose to the top with six points. Their captain also praised his goalkeeper’s crucial penalty save, which helped secure the 2-1 victory. Sports247 Nigeria +1
Now the health guys are threatening to close the Jendol supermarket for selling goals without a prescription!
Meanwhile, Daily Manna Global will observe its scheduled day of rest. After four winless games, maybe the bakers need to change their oven, fire the imaginary bread inspector, or introduce a new recipe called Three Points Special.
With five weeks still to go after Saturday’s games in this 10-week championship, no one should confuse the middle stage with the final whistle.
Sponsored by PatrickLingo Pharmaceuticals Limited, the competition continues to combine friendship, fitness and football entertainment.
According to the schedules released by Onyegbule Durugbo of the Sports Management Committee, both fixtures will take place at the LBS Sports Arena, with penalties for late kick-off and walkover regulations being applied.
Will Zudachi demolish Wellborn’s reception or will the hotel guys finally offer their guests a comfortable defeat? Will Jendol be able to empty Remed’s medicine cabinet or will the league leaders prescribe him another painful injection?
It’s been four weeks and week 5 is loading! Someone bring popcorn, because this league is turning into a comedy series with soccer boots!
