The General Supervisor of the Redered Christian Church (RCCG), Father Enoch Adeboye has described Nigeria as the best place to live on earth.
He said the country was unique with tough happy people despite the prevailing challenges.
Adeboye, who made a comment during the Church Monthly Gratitude Prints in Lagos on Sunday, urged Nigerians abroad to go home.
He advised the Nigerians who planned to leave the country to put aside the idea.
The ulama noted that the Nigerians hold the record as some of the happiest people on earth and thus, this country is the best place on earth.
“I have traveled around the world, from the sun rising to the setting place, I can say this with all the courage: There is almost no country on earth like Nigeria,” Adeboye said in a video posted on the church’s YouTube channel.
“Oh yes, we have a problem, but we hold the world record as the happiest person in the world. Somehow, no matter the situation, we know how to laugh.”
Tells the meeting he has in England, Father Adeboye said a British woman once described Nigeria’s laughter as an infectious.
“I smiled and said, ‘You don’t know anything. We laugh at anything, no matter the situation,'” he said.
The man of God further urged the Nigerians to be fully subject to God’s authority, emphasizing that true greatness and unlimited promotion only came through the height of the Divine.
“You don’t know the meaning of greatness until you give up on the king.
“If you think you are big and do not need to give up to Jesus Christ, no problem. He will leave you in your place. One day you will find that failure to give up is deceiving yourself,” he added.
