Just in: Jacobu stepped to the side, Agbameche-MBU took over as the chairman of the Acting Inec

With the Chairman of the Independent National Election Commission (Inec) Mahmoud Jacobu Proceedings about Terminal Leave, a National Commissioner in the Commission, perhaps Agbamuche-MBU, has taken the duty as the Acting Chair of the Commission.

Prof. Yakubu has officially submitted the task of following the directions by the President of Bola Tinubu so that he continued the terminal leave.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Inec headquarters in Abuja during a stakeholder meeting with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (Recs).
