The APC elected Kekemeke, and others as leaders of the South West zone

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has re-elected Dr. Isaac Kekemeke as head of the South West zone.

Kekemeke was elected along with seven other members of the zonal executive by consensus at the APC South West Zonal Congress held on Wednesday in Lagos.

In his address at the forum, Chairman of the APC Zonal Congress Committee, Jide Jimoh, said at least 1,398 delegates, hailing from six states in the South West had been accredited for the congress.

According to him, Lagos has 337 accredited delegates; Ondo, 245; Oyo, 243; Osun, 156; Ekiti, 211; and Ogun, 206.

The elected zonal executive members are – Alfred Aluko (Secretary), Ismail Majaro (Legal Advisor), Lateef Ibirogba (Organizing Secretary), and Ayobami Afolabi (Publicity Secretary).

The others are – Mrs Oyetunde Adesanya (Women Leader), Mr Daramola Adesuyi (Youth Leader), and Mr Dayo Ishola (Representative of Persons with Disabilities).

Jimoh said: ‘The South West has always been blessed with great and influential leaders.

“Our zone has always been the center of progress in politics. We must keep ourselves united and united.”
