President Bola Tinubu will visit Jos, Plateau, over the killing of innocent citizens suspected to be enemies of the state.
Gunmen on Monday killed a number of people in North-Central states.
The President will also visit four other states in the country.
This was disclosed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said that Tinubu during his visit would sympathize with the government and the people of Plateau over the incident.
The visit follows the postponement of his previous planned trip to Iperu, Ogun State, where he was to commence operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.
“This visit underscores the government’s concern about the security challenges and its solidarity with the affected communities in the state.
“From Plateau, the President will continue his journey to Lagos to commemorate the Good Friday holiday.
“On Saturday, Tinubu will travel to Ogun State to inaugurate the Gateway International Cargo Airport, he will also inaugurate two commercial aircraft intended for export and import operations aimed at enhancing the country’s economic growth.
” During his visit to Ogun, the President plans to inaugurate the new building of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service.
”He will also inaugurate operational vehicles to increase service efficiency in trade facilitation and border management.
Tinubu will then return to Lagos to continue his Easter holidays and undertake additional official duties.
“While in Lagos, the President is expected to commission key infrastructure projects being implemented by the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

” These include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information Systems Building, and the Multi-Agency Complex named after the President.
He will also inaugurate a school complex as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure in the state.
“Before returning to Abuja, Tinubu is scheduled to visit Bayelsa on April 10 for commissioning of the project.
“The project was completed by the administration of Governor Duoye Diri,” the statement read.
