The Super Águilas will play two high-level friendly matches scheduled for June.
Nigeria will face Poland for the first time on June 3 and the match will take place at the PGE Narodowy in the country’s capital, Warsaw.
In the second match, Nigeria will face Portugal on June 10 in Portugal, the venue of which is yet to be announced.
The match will serve as Portugal’s last match before leaving for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Nigeria comes to these matches after two friendly matches played in March. The team earned a 2-1 victory over Iran and drew 2-2 against Jordan.
The June friendlies represent an important opportunity for coach Eric Chelle to further evaluate his team.
The matches are expected to provide a platform to introduce new players, provide opportunities to NPFL talent and experiment with different tactical approaches.
Chelle had already debuted several players during the March matches, with Emmanuel Fernandez emerging as one of the standout players.

The Rangers centre-back impressed in both matches, scoring a goal and putting in solid defensive performances.
These upcoming matches will also help Chelle fine-tune his team ahead of AFCON 2027, scheduled to take place from September to November 2026.
It will be his first competitive tournament in charge of the Super Eagles since the AFCON 2025 third-place match against Egypt.
