A mentally challenged man killed his sibling in Ondo

A 28-year-old mentally challenged man, Femi Agbeye, has hacked his three siblings to death in Okitipupa, Okitipupa Local Government Area, Ondo State.

The suspect allegedly attacked the brothers with a machete and hacked them to death.

Spokesman of the state police command, Jimoh Abayomi, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday in Akure.

He said the victims were Bose Agbeye (20), Dupe Agbeye (7), and Blessing Agbeye (5).

The spokesperson said the suspect’s father reported the incident to the Okitipupa Area Command.

“Command officers quickly moved to the scene, where the victims were found dead.

Their bodies have been evacuated and deposited at the State Specialist Hospital Mortuary, Okitipupa, for preservation and autopsy.

“In a swift and coordinated operation, the suspect was arrested and will be charged to court once the investigation is complete,” he said.
