Nigeria’s U-18 and U-20 men’s handball teams have qualified for the final of the IHF Trophy Africa Zone 3 tournament in Lomé after impressive semi-final wins over Ghana.

The U-18 team produced a dominant performance, thrashing their West African rivals 42-22 with a combination of attacking efficiency and solid defense to maintain their strong run in the competition.

At under-20 level, Nigeria were pushed to the limit but beat Ghana 21-19 in a close encounter, with goalkeeper Attahiru Sahabi emerging as the hero after a series of crucial late saves.

Now that both teams have reached their respective finals, Nigeria are on course for a potential double win as they aim to secure gold medals and qualification for the next phase of the competition.
