Nigeria’s currency, the naira, recovered further against the United States dollar at the official window on Thursday.
Officially, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data shows that the naira closed at N1,355.85/$1, compared with N1,357.33/$1 on Wednesday.
This represents a gain of N1.48 for the local currency against the dollar.
On the black market, the naira lost N3 against the dollar, trading at N1,398/$1, compared with N1,395/$1 the previous day.

The local currency closed flat against the British Pound and Canadian Dollar trading at N1,880/£1 and N1,100/CA$1 respectively.
The Naira rose N5 against the Euro, trading at ₦1,620/€1, down from the previous day’s ₦1,625/€1.
