Osimhen’s brace gives Galatasaray their fourth consecutive Super Lig title

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored a brace to help Galatasaray defeat Antalyaspor 4-2, securing the Turkish Super Lig title.

Galatasaray knew they needed a win to clinch the championship, but it was Antalyaspor who took the lead just before half-time with a goal from Dikmen.

However, Galatasaray responded strongly after the break. Gabonese winger Mario Lemina equalized in the 56th minute.

Antalyaspor regained the lead in the 62nd minute, with Dikmen scoring his second goal of the match. But Osimhen’s heroics in the 66th and 88th minutes turned the tables, giving Galatasaray the lead.

In injury time, Ayhan sealed the victory with a fourth goal to take the lead past Antalyaspor.

The victory marked Galatasaray’s fourth consecutive Super Lig title, with Osimhen playing a key role in the last two championships.

Since arriving from Napoli, the Nigerian striker has scored 61 goals in 75 games for the Turkish giants.
