Abdullahi Biffo appointed Flying Eagles assistant coach

Former Kwara United technical advisor Abdullahi Biffo has been appointed second assistant coach of the Nigeria national under-20 team, the Flying Eagles.

The appointment was confirmed by the Communications Department of the Nigerian Football Federation following the announcement of the team’s new coaching staff.

Biffo was selected by newly appointed Flying Eagles head coach Abdu Maikaba along with Ortega Deniran who will serve as first assistant coach while Usman Mohammed takes charge as goalkeeping coach.

Widely regarded as one of the most certified football coaches in the country, Biffo has coached several Nigerian Premier Football League teams including Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes, Katsina United, Abia Warriors and Sporting Lagos.

The Nigeria Flying Eagles will benefit from Biffo’s wealth of experience as they look to defend their WAFU-B Championship title.

The Flying Eagles are expected to resume their camp in Abuja on Sunday as they begin preparations for the WAFU B U20 Championship scheduled for July, which will serve as a qualifier for next year’s U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
