‘Pity My Soul’ — Chike shuts down rumors of his affair with Frank Edoho’s wife

Nigerian singer Chike has reacted emotionally to the social media backlash over rumors linking him to Frank Edoho’s second wife, Sandra.

The controversy, which sparked heated discussions on social media, escalated after leaked recordings allegedly related to Chike and Edoho’s wife emerged online.

Amid growing criticism over the issue, the music star took to his X account with a short but emotional message that seemed to reflect the pressure surrounding the story.

He wrote: “Poor My Soul.”

The cryptic statement has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans and critics debating the situation and the singer’s involvement in the ongoing drama.

This comes days after lifestyle influencer Diane Okeke publicly denied allegations that she had an affair with Edoho.

He described the claims as “false and baseless” and threatened legal action against those who spread them online.

Controversy arose after Sandra accused her husband of serial infidelity during their marriage.

In a post shared on Thursday, Sandra specifically named Okeke as one of the women allegedly involved with the media star.

However, on his verified Instagram page on Friday, Okeke dismissed the allegations and emphasized that his relationship with Edoho was never romantic.

According to him, the couple only met in 2024 for business matters before becoming friends in May 2025.

“To be clear, Frank Edoho and I met in 2024 only for business-related matters and only became good friends in May 2025 when he was dealing with personal matters, which I will not discuss here for privacy reasons. Any narrative beyond this is completely inaccurate,” he wrote.

Okeke further appealed to the public to avoid circulating unverified reports that could damage reputations and impact families.

He stressed that he remains focused on his work and has no intention of fueling online drama surrounding the Edoho family.

The influencer also revealed that her legal team had been informed and that formal steps would be taken against defamatory statements related to her name.

“I respectfully ask the public not to spread unverified claims that could harm individuals, families and reputations… My legal team has been notified of the matter, and I will take action in due course,” he added.
