Police agents in Ogun have arrested seven suspects for various crimes in the state.
The suspects were arrested in various parts of the state on charges of armed robbery, residential burglary, theft, conspiracy and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace.
Spokesman of the state police command, Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abeokuta.
Babaseyi said the arrests were made during a coordinated intelligence-based operation carried out by agents in Sango-Ota, Owode-Egba and Agbado Divisions.

He said Sango-Ota Division officers arrested three suspects identified as Pelumi Akintonde (21), Mojeed Sanusi (28) and Mubarak Lateef (17) over an alleged armed robbery incident in Alasia community.
According to him, the suspects are suspected of taking part in attacks on residents who took valuable items by force.
He said a locally made pistol and live cartridges had been recovered from the suspects, and added that efforts were on to arrest other members of the gang who were still at large.
“Owode-Egba Divisional officers arrested Damilare Makanjuola (22) in connection with alleged house breaking and theft in Ofada.
“Preliminary investigations link the suspect to another reported burglary incident at Sun City Estate, Ofada, where electrical equipment, cash and other valuables were allegedly stolen,” he said.
