Ranchers Bees complete signing of Kabiru Mohammed ahead of new NPFL season

Ranchers Bees have completed the signing of defender Kabiru Mohammed ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Kaduna club successfully concluded negotiations with the experienced left-back after several days of talks, with both parties reaching an agreement and signing a contract ahead of the new campaign.

Mohammed became available following his departure from Kwara United at the end of the season after spending over three years at the Ilorin-based club.

During his time at Kwara United, the defender established himself as a key member of the team, contributing significantly to the club’s successes, including their historic Federation President Cup triumph and their fight to maintain top-flight status.

Ranchers Bees identified Mohammed as a valuable addition to their team as preparations for the upcoming NPFL season continue. His arrival is expected to bring experience, leadership and defensive stability to the Kaduna team.

The move marks a return to familiar territory for the Kaduna-born defender, who will now look to help Ranchers Bees achieve their ambitions in the 2026/2027 campaign.
