KGIRS: Kogi Revenue Chairman urges Nigerian youths to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship

The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Dr. Sule Salihu Enehe, has urged Nigerian youths to embrace knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship as a path to self-reliance, adding that the future belongs to youths equipped with digital skills and creative thinking.

Enehe gave the charge while delivering the keynote address at the first international conference of the Department of Business Administration, Federal University of Lokoja, held with the theme: “From Idea to Scale: Building Resilient SMEs in Emerging Markets”.

Addressing participants at the two-day conference, which brought together academics, policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers and students to explore strategies for building resilient and sustainable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in emerging economies, the KGIRS president urged students to see themselves as future employers rather than job seekers.

He noted that technological innovation continues to reshape businesses and leadership around the world.

“The world is changing rapidly. Technology is disrupting traditional industries and creating opportunities for young innovators every day. Don’t wait for the older generation to pass you the leadership positions. Be prepared and seize these opportunities,” he said.
