Super Eagles Striker Force Club to cancel training after refusing to leave

Wolverhampton Wanderers, a team relegated from the English Premier League, were forced to cancel training yesterday after Tolu Arokodare’s refusal to leave the pitch when asked not to train with the team.

New coach César Peixoto apparently has no tolerance for “player power” and lack of discipline, asking the lanky striker who has been linked with an exit to leave the training ground as it is not in his plans for the season.

Arokodare avoided an agreed move with Turkish side Trabzonspor and insisted on a move to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina, but the move has now been called off after they failed to reach an agreement with Wolves.

Additional security will be in place at Compton Park today to ensure he is not on the training ground and will not be part of the squad traveling to Maidenhead United tomorrow night.
