Kosoko, Toyin Abraham, Pasuma and others were named on the APC Lagos campaign board

Veteran actor Prince Jide Kosoko, Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Akintola, and musicians Fuji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Obesere and Adewale Ayuba have been listed among the campaign board members of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress for the 2027 elections.

The entertainers are part of the party’s 33-member Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate, the composition of which was announced on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Center.

The campaign council is scheduled to be officially inaugurated on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.

Under the Directorate of Entertainment and Creative Economy, Toke Benson-Awoyinka was appointed as Director, with Kosoko serving as Co-Director and Badmus as Deputy Director.

Akeem Alimi, known as Ajala Jalingo, is listed as Secretary, while Dare Olateju is Assistant Secretary.

The directorate brings together figures from various segments of the entertainment industry, particularly Nollywood, Yoruba-language cinema and Fuji music.

Among the famous actors and actresses on the list are veteran actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, Saheed Balogun, Abiola Adebayo, Remi Oshodi, Foluke Daramola, Bukky Wright, Fathia Balogun, Kikelomo Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Bimbo Akintola, Tayo Sobola and Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi.

Other members include Bopo Oyekan Ismaila, Rasaq Yusuf, Aderinola Philips, Olamide Maja and Abbey Lanre.

The musical contingent includes Pasuma, Abas Akande or fondly known as Obesere, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle (Malaika), Adewale Ayuba, Akorede Babatunde Okunola (Osupa) and Temitope Adekunle (Little Doctor).

Sule Adio Ataweye, Yemisi Falaye, Leke Babatunde Akinrowo, Kayode Fahm and Aruna Ishola are also listed as members of the directorate.

The Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate is one of several special structures set up under the APC Lagos campaign council as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.

At the broader campaign board level, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is listed as Chairman, while his deputy, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, is appointed as Deputy Chairman.

Former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro was appointed Director General, with Rasaq Ajala as Deputy Director General and Adekunle Olayinka as Campaign Secretary.

The wider structure also includes former Lagos governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode as Deputy Chairs of the advisory structure, while Prince Tajudeen Olusi is listed as Chair of the Government Advisory Council.

Friday’s inauguration of the campaign board is expected to formally move the various directorates and committees ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
