Reggae Tahiti is an ensemble with Tahitian roots and their new album, Children of the oceanit is a moving, uplifting and conscious melody.

This tear-jerking drop comes at a time when island reggae fans and sound system enthusiasts are looking for real, message-driven songs that pay homage to Polynesian history and maritime culture. Reggae Tahiti continues to blaze a trail for global appreciation on the international circuit for fusing native Pacific energy with classic Jamaican roots rhythms. In Children Of Ocean, the ensemble pays a moving tribute to the deep ancestral connection to the sea, environmental harmony and cultural pride.

The sound architect creates an organic, mid-tempo, roots reggae foundation, propelled by rhythmic guitar strokes, warm Hammond organ chords and lively percussion. A deep, walking bassline slides with ease beneath steady drums, maintaining a soothing, nodding rhythm.

Reggae Tahiti drives the record with deep vocal harmonies and heartfelt delivery.
