Nigeria’s Future Eagles are still searching for their first win at the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival after drawing for the third year in a row, this time in a 3-3 thriller against Gambia in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Sunday night.
The Future Eagles came into the night match after a 3-3 draw with South Sudan on Saturday and a 2-2 draw with Jordan on Sunday morning, leaving them with two points.
Against their West African rivals at the Hovsan Competition Complex, the Future Eagles once again showed offensive power, but were unable to defend themselves in the eight-on-eight format (two 20-minute halves).

The team will have to turn draws into wins on Monday to finish strong when it faces its final two Group AD games.
They will face Cyprus today (Monday) at 8:30 a.m. before taking on Pakistan at 3:15 p.m.
Group results determine which level each team advances to in the second phase on October 28 and 29, and the level finals on October 30.
