Osimhen approaches Galatasaray’s all-time goal record

Victor Osimhen is on the verge of becoming Galatasaray’s all-time leading foreign goalscorer following his impressive performances for the Turkish giants.

The Nigerian international has scored 68 goals for the club, placing him third on Galatasaray’s all-time goalscoring chart.

Mauro Icardi currently leads the ranking of foreign scorers with 77 goals, while Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi is in second position with 72 goals.

Osimhen moved one step closer to the record after scoring a brace in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Fenerbahçe on Monday night.

The 27-year-old has made an impressive start to the season, registering nine goals and three assists in nine appearances in all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.

If his prolific form continues, Osimhen will be eager to maintain his goalscoring streak, climb further up Galatasaray’s all-time goalscoring rankings and further cement his legacy at the Turkish giants.
