Lagos-based Ikorodu City will be desperate to break their jinx when they travel to Gombe to take on Doma United on Saturday in matchday 11 of the Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Oga Boys have been impressive at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena this season (three wins, two draws and no losses in their last five home games), but they are yet to win on the road this season.
Ikorodu City come into the match 11th in the table with 13 points from 10 matches after a lively 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan last Sunday. They were trailing 2-0 before scoring in the 44th and 83rd minutes to rescue a point.
But away from home, it is a different story as Ikorodu only managed two draws and lost three of their five away games. The losses include a 2-1 loss to Niger Tornadoes on October 18 and a 2-0 loss to Rivers United on October 4.

Doma United, on the other hand, are in 10th place with 14 points from nine games and are unbeaten at home in their last four (two wins, two draws). They drew 1-1 with Kun Khalifat in their last match.
Head-to-head matches in the NPFL are 0-0. Their only recent meeting was a preseason clash on August 19 where Doma won 3-1.
With just one point separating both teams, Ikorodu City know that a first away win will not only end their travel woes but also lift them into the top half of the table.
