I Trust All My Players – Waldrum

The Super Falcon haven’t been to the Olympics for 16 years – 4 editions – however Waldrum’s squad are a game away from clinching qualification for this year’s edition.

A 1-0 first leg win over South Africa in the final qualifying round fixture last Friday, gives Nigeria the advantage.

Now, all eyes are set on the upcoming return leg clash at the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Tuesday.

Speaking ahead of the game, Waldrum says they are gearing up for an intense battle and hope secure their place at the Games

“We will go into the match the same way, we will be confident,” Waldrum said ahead of the game. “Our players know what’s at stake and I feel confident in our players that they will go and get the result.”
