Too much acting, not enough dancing the cha cha, and I’m afraid that for me his cha cha moves looked a bit odd.
It's not easy to pull off the stiffness of the mummy and the fluidity of the cha cha, but they found the perfect balance!
Honestly Will just needs to dance in a jockstrap to hot stuff he would get 10s from all judges and so many votes

It was an entertaining routine! I think they sacrificed too much technique for the mummies, though. It did take too long to get into the actual cha-cha, and when they did, his legs were bent on some of his lock steps, and it was a bit stiff. Overall, I do think it was one of his weaker performances, despite the theme.
Not so keen on this one – in my bottom two with Gorka and what's her name … Helen-something.

Hmmm. A lot of the themes tonight were fun as an individual concept but didn't really do the dance style justice. This was definitely one of them. Loved the characterisation and there was some great hip isolation and leg actions, however, a cha cha should be tighter and more compact with more drive in the walks and this got a bit messy and stilted at times. They just about managed to balance the theme and dance type but it was a little too ambitious an idea imo

This was so fun and such a contrast from a stiff mummy to a hip moving dancer. 8/10

Really enjoyable and well danded performance full of great Cha Cha content and choreography, the hip action was very good and all the cuban breaks and swivel sections were all really well executed I really really like this, Cha Cha walks were very very clean and it had a great story and the musicality was there it was absolutely delightful. I just wish Will could get back his Jive energy and vibes that's all that was just such a showstopper but I still thought this was great but I just think he could produce something even more fabulous but it was a terrific improvement on the Rumba, great character, really into the dance and his element, really well done for that. So much rhythym and energy. A decent attempt at a difficult routine 🙂 Anton should have said "well when my partner came out of a coffin it didn't look quite like that" 😂

First of all, LOVED THE CHARACTER! It was super impressive to keep it even while doing technical dancing. I don't think it's an 8 yet in my opinion because at times his posture was lacking slightly and some of the moves were stiff. There were also some occasional steps that could of been enlarged, like could of been bigger steps. Also there could of been a bit more cha cha in the dance. But what a treat! The hip action was superb and the stiff leg parts were clean. Overall great characterisation and great great performance!

Im so proud of him. I know how hard him and Nancy worked on this. He really wanted to improve his Latin and he did. That was brilliant and so much fun!
I think the theming made this slightly awkward and prevented it from being as good as it could been, but still some lovely hip action. A few ghastly heel leads in there though. Naughty naughty. 8

This was fun but kind of proves my ongoing dislike for themed weeks. Will could have done an amazing 'traditional' Cha Cha Cha, but the theme they had to work with restricted what they could do. Sure Halloween is fun but from a dance point of view the worst dances this season have been because of themes (not that this was a bad dance, it just could have been so much more).

Posture was slightly messy, but technically, Will’s performance was absolutely brilliant 🤩 and I actually did like Will the Mummy, it actually worked for me, so extra mark
Hard to judge as it's not so much a dance as a routine!
Fun performance from Will. Choreography was a bit messy and disorganised for my liking, but their character was funny.
