NPFL: Bendel Insurance expresses sadness over home loss to Bayelsa United

Bendel Insurance has expressed its dissatisfaction with the outcome of its end-of-season clash with Bayelsa United in the 2023/24 Nigerian Premier Football League season.

On Sunday, the visitors shocked Benin Arsenals by winning 2-0 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.

In the match, Bayelsa United scored goals through Okorie Ekeson and Tekena Garando.

Bendel Insurance said the team had a bad experience with the loss.

The team said on their X account: “We had a bad experience on the last day of the Premier League football season in Benin.”

“We are fed up with a very boring period in training camp after losing 2-0 to a Bayelsa United team that is threatened with relegation.”

Bendel Insurance finished the season with 53 points in 38 games, which places them in ninth place
