American multinational technology company, Apple has warned iPhone users about a possible spyware attack that will affect no less than 98 countries.
The identity of the attackers and the countries where users received the notifications were not disclosed in the official notice issued by the tech company on Wednesday.

“This attack likely targeted you specifically because of who you are or what you do. While it is impossible to achieve absolute certainty when detecting such attacks, Apple is very confident in this warning — please take it seriously,” Apple added in the text.

A support page on the company’s website states that Apple has been sending these messages regularly since 2021, reaching users in more than 150 countries.
