Anambra 2025 Governorship Election Crucial for APC – Ganduje

]National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, said on Wednesday that the 2025 governorship election in Anambra State was very important to the party and the Federal Government.

Ganduje, who stated this at the inauguration of the Anambra Consultative Council, argued that the state deserved to be in the mainstream of the country’s politics.

He said: “I believe the meeting is part of the state APC strategy to reorganize and unite our party members in preparation for the upcoming governorship election in 2025.

“I also believe that the strategic nature of Anambra in the South East, and the expansion of Nigeria, makes it necessary for the state to join the center.

“Therefore, I am confident that the men and women present at this meeting have the capacity and ability to lead Anambra to victory in the elections.

“We cannot continue to allow Anambra to remain on the fringes of Nigerian politics, therefore all parties must work together to make this mission a reality.”

He thanked the APC chairman in Anambra, Basil Ejidike, and other members of the party’s executive committee in the state for initiating the stakeholders’ meeting.

The Kano state government had earlier called for unity among party stakeholders in the state.

“Just like the party logo, which is a broom, a united body will never be defeated, your strength and success lies in your unity.

“Therefore, I urge you to come together to achieve the set goals. I extend the hand of brotherhood and party support to all stakeholders in Anambra,” Ganduje added.

He assured that the national leadership of the party would continue to support the APC in Anambra ahead of the 2025 elections.
