French champions Paris Saint-Germain are continuing talks with Victor Osimhen’s side to sign the Super Eagles striker for £84m.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the French club have started talks with Victor Osimhen’s team to sign the Napoli striker this summer.
Osimhen is said to be interested in joining PSG and is open to a move if an agreement/fee can be reached with his current club Napoli.
Paris Saint-Germain are willing to pay £84m (€100m) to buy Osimhen from Napoli.
Despite Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis having estimated a fee close to £109m for the Nigerian star, PSG’s lower offer is “still sufficient to unlock the deal”.
In 2023, Osimhen signed a contract extension to remain at Napoli until 2026, thus extending his stay at the Serie A team by another season.
In 133 appearances for the club in all competitions, Osimhen scored 76 goals, helping Napoli win the league title in the 2022-23 season, with 26 goals scored during the campaign.
