Rivers district prison executives suspend actress Hilda Dokubo

The Labor Party has suspended actress-turned-politician Hilda Dokubo over alleged financial misuse.

He was also accused of abusing his office and violating party regulations, among other things.

The actor, who once served as special adviser on youth affairs to former Rivers State Governor Peter Odili, was suspended by his ward executives in Asari Toru local government area of ​​the state on Thursday.

In a letter signed by the ward chairman, Ajalamonia Ibama, and secretary, Lole Amacheer, ward executives said they took the decision after a thorough investigation into the allegations against the 54-year-old actress.

They said sufficient evidence had been found to support their allegations against Dokubo, who has refused to respond to the allegations against him.
