PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

GRADUATE DEGREE: A candidate for admission to the University’s Postgraduate Degree must have graduated from Fountain University or any other approved university with at least a third-class degree

Holder of an HND with at least a lower credit from an approved polytechnic

MASTER’S DEGREE: At least a second class with distinction (lower division) from an approved university,

DOCTORATE: Candidates for admission to the doctorate must meet the following conditions:

1) Candidates must have obtained five credits including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.

(ii) Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university must obtain at least a second class bachelor’s degree with a cumulative average of 3.0/5.0.

) Applicants must hold a master’s degree in relevant fields with a general average of 4.0/5.0 and a thesis score not lower than 60% (B).

POST-PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDMA)

1. Applicants for admission to the PGD programme in Management should normally have a recognised first degree with at least third class honours from accredited universities.

A person holding a Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized higher education institutions with at least a lower credit is also eligible for the PGD in Management program.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

1. Applicants for admission to the MBA programme should normally hold a recognised first degree with at least a second class (honours) lower credit degree from accredited universities.

Candidates who hold the following professional qualifications ACCA, ACA, ACMA and AIB with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience are also eligible for the MBA programme.

Holders of a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a pass credit in Accounting, Business Administration or related fields and with the specified professional qualifications should be eligible, without exception, for a selection interview.
