The head of the company communications of the airline, dr. Ejike Ndiulo, made the disclosure in a declaration on Thursday evening in Lagos.

According to Ndiulo, Air Peace is grateful to his customers and to the public general for patience, understanding and support during the strike period.

“Your resilience and trust in our brand mean the world for us.

“We praise the active and decisive intervention of the Aviation Minister and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (San), whose leadership and commitment were fundamental in solving the impasse and restoring normality in the aviation sector,” said Ndiulo.

He noticed the quick commitment of the minister with the interested parties of the aviation, his transparent approach and his dedication to the stability and progress of the aviation sector.

According to him, Keyamo’s efforts not only facilitated the timely resolution of the industrial controversy, but also underlined his broadest vision for a safer, more efficient and investor Nigerian aeronautical industry.

Ndiulo reaffirmed Air Peace’s commitment to providing safe, reliable and world -class services.

Freedomonline reports that Thursday’s Nimet workers set aside the strike that started on April 22nd after Keyamo’s intervention.

The workers reduced the tools for protest of alleged bad working conditions, including the non -implementation of the 2019 consequential adaptation to the minimum national wage (which affects at least 30 employees).

They are also asking for a salary increase of 25/35 %, 40 % of difficulty/peculiar allowance and annual staff training courses.

Keyamo had promised to find lasting solutions to problems.
