Ola Aina has been named winner of Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month award, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigeria international’s superb strike in Forest’s 2-0 victory against Aston Villa at the City Ground was overwhelming voted for by the club’s supporters.
Aina guided a powerful shot past Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez on five minutes.
It was the full-back’s first goal for Nottingham Forest.
The stunning strike received 50% of the total vote.
It would be recalled that Aina won the club’s Player of the Month award in September.
The 27-year-old linked up with Nottingham Forest in the summer.
The defender has made 10 league appearances for Tricky Trees this season.
