AL-ANSAR UNIVERSITY MAIDUGURI RELEASES POST UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri (AUM) is a private conventional university located in Maiduguri, Borno State. It commenced its academic activities in the 2024/2025 academic session in three (3) colleges with twenty-two (22) undergraduate academic programmes. The University now has 4 (four) colleges with twenty-nine (29) academic programmes. It is expected to admit a third batch of UTME and Direct Entry (DE) students in the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective candidates are therefore invited to apply for admission taking note of:

Eligibility

1. Candidates must have chosen AUM as their preferred institution and have a minimum score of 140 in the 2024 UTME combined subjects conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);

2. Candidates who wish to come to the University but have not chosen the University as their first choice should undertake a change of institution on the JAMB portal;

3. Direct Entry (DE) candidates having the relevant admission requirements mentioned below; and

4. All candidates for UTME or DE must have five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO in not more than two (2) sittings or as specified in the Admission Requirements below:

Mode of application

1. Candidates should visit JAMB portal http://www.jamb.gov.ng to change their university of choice and courses of study if they did not choose AUM;

2. All candidates must ensure that they upload their 2024 O-Level and UTME results on the JAMB and university portals; and

3. Candidates are required to pay N2,000:00 (Two Thousand Naira) for the Post UTME screening exercise through the university portal: https://www.aum.edu.ng/admission/application/register

Note: Hostel accommodation is available at N500,000 per bed.
