AUF, St. Joseph College of Nursing Partner on Google Career Certificate Program

The Africa University Fund, Inc. (AUF) has participated in a historical collaboration with the St. Joseph College of Nursing Sciences, Mbaise, to integrate Google’s professional career certificate in the management of the project in the college nursing curriculum.

The collaboration, officially inaugurated on August 6 by Dr. Tobechukwu Nwachukwu, regional director of AUF for West Africa, will see college designated as a learning link campus AUF. This status grants students access to a wide range of AUF digital learning programs in Health and Technology.

According to Dr. Nwachukwu, the initiative aims to fill the gap between health education and the skills requested in the modern workplace. “By equipping nursing students with project management and digital skills, we are preparing them for being a leader in health innovation both in Nigeria and globally,” he said.

The program will prepare nursing students not only to provide high quality health services, but also to manage projects effectively and use digital tools in clinical and administrative roles.

The partnership is part of the wider mission of AUF to improve higher education throughout Africa through strategic collaborations, global learning opportunities and training guided training.

Based in New York City, AUF is a non -profit organization based in the United States dedicated to the progress of transnational education and the development of digital skills for African students through alliances with academic institutions and leaders in the sector.
