Gunmen suspected to be bandits reportedly killed six people in four communities in Kauru local government area of ​​Kaduna State on Monday.

The terrorists also kidnapped 23 others in coordinated attacks on Sabon Gida Libere, Ungwan Ganye, Ungwan Nabara and Kadi communities in the area.

Residents told reporters on Wednesday that the attackers stormed the community with sophisticated weapons and went from house to house picking off victims.

They also fired sporadically to scare off residents, many of whom sought shelter in the bushes in the community.
