Bauchi Gov appoints 168 political helpers

The governor of the state of Bauchi, Bala Mohammed, approved the appointment of 168 political helpers in a large move to revitalize governance and improve inclusive leadership in the state.

The appointments, announced on Tuesday in a declaration signed by the special consultant of the Governor for the media and advertising, Mukhtar Gidado, cover various categories of political assistants including the main special assistants, special senior assistants, special assistants and personal assistants.

According to Gidado, the last appointments are part of the constant commitment of the governor Mohammed to deepen participatory governance, promote the basic commitment and provide improved service throughout the state of Bauchi.

Of the new -not least assistants, 63 will serve by personal assistants, 60 years as special assistants and 38 as special assistants, all concentrated on political and community relationships.

In addition, five people have been appointed main special assistants for political and community relationships, one as the main special assistant on pension matters and one as a special senior assistant on work issues.

“The newly helped, many of whom are former owners of offices at various levels of government, have been selected on the basis of the merits, the political pedigree and the registers of the leadership traces,” said Gidado.

He observed that the Governor expects the assistants to bring renewed vigor to his administration and align with his vision for a more effective and focused government.

“This administration is intensifying the efforts to provide democratic dividends to the people of Bauchi. Appointments are a strategic move to consolidate past results and build a legacy of good governance, inclusiveness and sustainable development,” he added.

Governor Mohammed accused the nominated of seeing their roles as an appeal to a greater service, urging them to demonstrate loyalty, dedication and a strong commitment to the well -being of people.

Development marks another step in the second -term second -term strategy to expand political participation and strengthen institutional capacity throughout the state.
