With the new season almost kicking off in a few days time, Bayelsa united will tackle Excellent football club in pre-season friendly game at omoku River states.
Both teams are billed to take part in the forthcoming 5th Tico/Select pre-season tournament that is billed to take place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state .
The two clubs have met four times with Bayelsa united having the upper hands with two wins and two draws, their next meeting on Friday 25th August 2023 at Krisdera stadium will be their fifth.
Tico/Select pre-season select tournament is being powered by Ifeanyi Ekwueme, the sporting director of Enyimba FC.
