Brazilian sack coach Dorival JR after defeat to Argentina

Brazil the world of world soccer has fired their manager Dorival Junior after losing 4-1 to Argentina’s heavy rival in the World Cup qualifiers this week.

They sat fourth in the South American group, after losing five out of 14 matches, although they were still well placed to qualify for the 2026 final.

The 62 -year -old Dorival, who has managed a number of Brazilian clubs, has been responsible for the national team since January 2024.

His first match was a 1-0 victory at Wembley over England in March’s friendship and he then won seven, attracted six and lost three of the 16 matches responsible.

But the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced his release after they were beaten well by Champiobs World Argentina, who had sealed their place in the World Cup.

“The council hopes that he will be successful in his sustainable career. From now on, CBF will work to find a replacement,” a short statement of reading.

Remember that Dorival Junior won the Brazilian Cup with Sao Paulo in 2023, shortly before becoming the Brazilian boss.

Brazil, according to reports from the country, wants to employ Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
