CAC holds the commemorative service for the late Ogutade shepherd of CAC, London – Thage

The Christolic Church (CAC) English Asglish Assembly District, Irire, Lagos is organizing a commendation service in honor of the shepherd Elijah Oguntade, who died in London, in the United Kingdom, on July 18, at the age of 73.
Oguntade was ordained Pastore of the CAC, while at the Apostolic Church of Christ, the English assembly in 1999, and diligently served the Lord in different capacities before moving to London in 2003.

He also served in several churches in London before settling at the CAC, the Surrey Docks DCC of the Anosike region in the United Kingdom.

Secretary, CAC Assembly District, the shepherd Itit Taiwo Sokunbi, said that Oguntade was a very revered man of God widely known for his kindness, altruism, humility, generosity and a burning passion for the work of God.

He said that the deceased shepherd was also a guru it who co-founded the IT company, Remsund Nigeria Limited, with his childhood friend and brother-in-law, the pastor Remi Collins.

‘Before moving to the United Kingdom about two decades ago, they designed the Asycuda software system distributed in the gates of Lagos for the use by the Nigerian customs service.

“Son of a shepherd, Oguntade was an elderly from the first English language assembly of CAC founded by the Irire district in Lagos, and was decisive for his subsequent growth in a district with several branches after hosting the first branch in his personal home in the Ikate di Surulere area, Lagos.

He left Nigeria to settle in the United Kingdom with his whole family around 2003 and has maintained the fire of his service through a productive partnership with the shepherd Emmanuel Olusgun Medaiyese, the pioneering minister of the CAC at the Surrey Docks, London and the president of the foundation of the Anosike region that covers the United Kingdom and Europe.
He survived his wife, Fun Milayo Oguntade and their children and grandchildren.
The CAC English District, Irire, Lagos, launched plans for a commendation service in his honor, at 17:00, Tuesday 12 August.
The headquarters is the headquarters of the CAC English District at 3, Adefimihan Street, off the Irito-Mushin Road, Lagos.
An online post by his family said: “The Ogutade shepherd has dedicated his life to the service of his community and his faith, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion and spiritual guide.
“He was more than a shepherd; he was a lighthouse of hope and support for countless individuals and families. His commitment to his faith and his community was unwavering, promoting an environment of growth and understanding. It is remembered not only for his spiritual leadership, but also for his kindness, integrity and delicate strength that he provided to those who surrounded him.
“While reflecting on his extraordinary journey, we also recognize the profound impact he had on the life of those who surround him. The Pastor Oguntade has cultivated relationships that have gone through generations, promoting a spirit of unity and resilience between his parishioners, his friends and his family. His legacy will continue to inspire us to live with grace, generosity and a commitment to invasion to our values.
