Coal City University (CCU) Admission Requirements.
All candidates applying must have a minimum of 140 in their UTME and a minimum of 5 O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics (except the Department of Political Science where D7 is accepted in mathematics) and no more than two sessions at WAEC.
How to Apply for the Coal City University (CCU) UTME Form.
All candidates seeking admission into Coal City University Enugu in the 2022/2023 admission exercise are advised to commence online registration for selection soon.
Step 1 – Change of institution
You must choose Coal City University as your first choice of university when you sit for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Boards (JAMB) Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, if you did not choose CCU at first, you have the option to change institutions. This process can only be done at a Computer Based Testing Center (CBT) or any JAMB office nationwide.
NOTE: This process CANNOT be carried out in an internet café.
Step 2 – Download O’Level Result
Currently, admissions are only issued to candidates whose O’Level results are available for JAMB. To ensure that you do not miss the opportunity to gain admission into Coal City University, be sure to upload your result to the JAMB portal using the services of a CBT center or any JAMB office. For the avoidance of doubt, please download JAMB CAPS MOBILE from your Play Store and register to also track your admission process.
Step 3 – Print your original JAMB result
Step 4 – Apply to CCU
Click Apply Now from anywhere on the site to access the Portal.

On the portal, click on “Apply for a degree program”; link to generate an invoice for payment of processing fees 2,000 NGN. Select your application type, enter your JAMB registration number and click submit.
Step 5 – Print the application form
