In the second half, Insurance regained the lead in the 65th minute when Vincent Augustus found the back of the net.

But RS Berkane showed resilience and managed to level the score for the second time in the game, with Mohamed El Morabit scoring in the closing stages.

The second leg of the fixture will be held at the Berkane Municipal Stadium in two weeks’ time.
