Customs and Excise seized PMS smuggled by N63M, five vehicles in Adamawa

The Nigeria Customs Service Special Team “Operation Whirlwind” has confiscated the N63,036 million N63,036 million and five vehicles in the state of Adamawa.

Customs and Excise Financial Supervisors, Adewale Adeniyi, revealed this to the briefing of news in Yola on Friday.

Adeniyi, who was represented by Briefing by the National Coordinator of the Wirelwind Operations, Hussein Ejibunu, said service operators confiscated products on routes that were not approved between Adamawa, Nigeria, and the Camerun Republic.

He added that the achievement was in line with the core mandate of President Tinubu.

CG said: “WIRLWIND OPERATION has been repositioned all its engines in all areas of his responsibilities and ensures that the border becomes waterproof.

“This makes it difficult for economic patient to carry out their smuggling activities.”

He revealed that PMS will soon be auctioned to the public and the results sent to the federation account.
