Have you ever gotten to that point in your life where you feel like all you see are imperfections, lies, you have lack of confidence. It's sad really, sometimes you just sit yourself down and ask who am i???,the more you think you know yourself the more you find out new discoveries about you. You see the knife but you are not brave enough to pick it up and stab yourself because deep down you don't want to give up just yet. You want to fight for yourself.
They say that if you try to please everyone in this world you have gone on an impossible journey. Fine I understand that but what if you can't even find people who are pleased with you. Those tears pour out of your eyes and yet you can't stop them, sometimes you just want to scream out loud and say i give up!!!. How about when you see your parents putting so much effort into you and you are like "Am i really worth it?"
What about their complaint about your physical structure, you look into the mirror and you are afraid that you might scream at the reflection of yourself, Your friends are more trending, classy…flat stomach, tiktoks, crop tops and you can't wear fitted outfits because you are ashamed of what people might say of your shape, your tummy and sometimes it may be more than your physical structure.
But you know one thing I have realised is fact that despite their hurtful words, comments…there is one thing that puts a smile on your face. Focus on that thing, look into that mirror, caress your hands over your imperfections and say i am flawless. You are a gorgeous, confident, beautiful, rare diamond, it doesn't matter who you are. There's one thing I will tell you it might not stop, you may still hear insults from your peers the next day but as long as you are able to carry yourself and say this is who i am, you are unstoppable.
I don't know who needs to hear this but i just want you to know that that you are confident, special, rare,exceptional, different, smart, an angel, unique, an overcomer, a dove, strong, perfect, a trailblazer, one of a kind, big and beautiful and most importantly YOU ARE FLAWLESS.
