The captain of Super Eagles, William Troost-Ekong, begged fans to come out, in their numbers, to encourage the team in their crucial qualifying for the World Cup against Rwanda.
“I want to thank the Nigerians for their support. I want to ask them to continue encouraging us, to be in the stadium on Saturday and rez for us and all others in Nigeria.
“We know the severity of the game on Saturday, and we will focus on the preparation. I think that is what will give us confidence for the game,” he said.
He also praised Benjamin, applauding his development and growth, while giving credit to Moses Simon for his role in the development of the young man.
“Benjamin is a humble, hardworking and very talented defender. I think we are all really impressed with what he showed us in the Unity Cup, it is not easy at all, so I think a great credit for him.
“I know how hard he has worked, and also a great credit to my teammate Moses Simon for giving him the opportunity, taking him to his academy before going to Brentford.
“These are the things we love to see. We have a talented player who will be the future of Nigerian football, and we have Simon who has given him the opportunity to play professional football and be a super eagle.

“It is an incredible story, and I am anxious to see it continue its development and become important for the team.”
Meanwhile, Saturday’s game will mark the 80th Troost-Ekong limit for Nigeria since he won his debut in 2015.
The 32 -year -old will be expected to lead the team when Nigeria will receive Ruanda at the World Cup crucial.
