The sports director, Enyimba Football Club, Ifeanyi Ekwueme warned the former Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye to stop running out of public members against the club and advised him to read a contractual agreement and the conduct code on paying allowances and other various payments.

Ekwueme, who was once Super Eagles described the accusations of Ideye as unfounded by claiming that there are other various indemnities that the club pays its players at the end of the season.

It would have remembered that Enyimba FC had previously issued a strong refutation for the accusations of the former Super Eagles Brown Ideye striker and had called him a deliberate attempt to obscure the club reputation. The club expressed disappointment for the fact that a former Nigerian international, who was welcomed at home with open arms, chose to defame the system that embraced him.

In a declaration issued on Friday evening, Elyimba FC defended the ideye treatment during his short mandate to the club. The club stressed that Ideye received VIP privileges, including a monthly salary of ₦ 1 million, luxury hotel accommodation that cost ₦ 65,000 per night, air trips away and personal respect that adapts to its high -level status.

According to the former sports director of Heartland FC and Tico Sports Wears, he said: “There are some allowances and payments that we usually give to our players at the end of each season so as not to leave them delivered after the campaigns. In fact, these are already incorporated into their contractual agreement and Code of conduct. The administrator of the cunning football said.

Enyimba also faced ideye’s performances on the field, stating that he scored only five goals in all competitions and that his overall impact was not up to what was expected. The club also accused Ideye of being a divisive influence in the locker room, undermining the cohesion and progress of the team.

As for ideye’s statements on the well -being of poor players, Elyimba FC refuted these accusations, stating that he never raised these problems while collecting wages and VIP privileges. The club underlined their transparent bonus structure under the guidance of Nwankwo Kanu, which includes double victory bonuses and personal incentives by the management, sometimes up to 1 million high. Citing Ekwueme’s claims, he said: “Few bonuses had been paid before the end of the season, even a few championship and continental bonuses were paid before the end of the season”.

Enyimba FC concluded their declaration by reaffirming their commitment to the professionalism and growth of Nigerian football. The club expressed regret for the accident, but assured fans, stakeholders and the NPFL family to remain dedicated to the principles of integrity and gratitude.
