Eunisell, Bua Cement, ABC Transport, the other appears the top shares to watch this week

Investors in the Nigerian equity market posted a profit of N3.4 trillion last week.

Bourse was opened for business for four days last week because of a public holiday by the Federal Government to respect the late former President Muhammadu Buhari last Tuesday.

Market capitalization rose to N83,241 trillion from N79,803 trillion recorded in the previous week.

Likewise, the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated 4.31% to close the week with 131,585.66 points from 126,149.59 points recorded the previous week.

Running Bullish was driven by a strong performance from Eunisell Interlinked PLC, Bua Cement PLC and Associated Bus Company PLC, to secure their place among the best performing stocks last week and position themselves as stocks to watch on new weeks.

Eunisell • 17.90 ▴ 1.60 (9.82%)

The fear of shareholders may be eliminated by an increase of 38% of Eunisell’s share price since June 19, which is the 37th best in NGX.

Bua Cement started the year with N93.00 stock prices and since then up 32.7% of the price assessment, its 79th rank in NGX in terms of performance-to-date. Shareholders can be optimistic about Buacement knowing that shares have produced 37% over the last four weeks only to the best in NGX.

Bua Cement is the 78th most traded stock on the Nigerian stock exchange over the past three months (14 Apr – 18 July 2025). Buacement has traded a total volume of 66.4 million shares – in 16,600 agreements – assessed on N6.14 billion during that period, with an average of 1.05 million shares traded per session. The highest volume of 10.9 million was achieved on June 5, and the lowest 39,794 on April 22, for the same period.

ABCTRANS • 5.65 ▾ 0.04 (0.7%)

The current stock price of the relevant bus company (ABCTRANS) is N5.65. The Associated Bus started the year with N1.23 stock prices and since then up 359% in the price assessment, the second rank in NGX in terms of performance-to-date. Shareholders can be optimistic about ABCTRANS knowing that shares have produced 109% circulating during the last four weeks of the eighth best in NGX.

Associated Bus Company is the 73th stock most traded on the Nigerian Stock Exchange over the last three months (14 Apr – 18 Jul 2025). ABCTRANS has traded a total volume of 85.4 million shares in 4,890 agreements – assessed in the N245 million during that period, with an average of 1.36 million shares traded per session. The highest volume of 18.6 million was achieved on June 18, and the lowest 102,658 on May 16, for the same period.
