Former France defender Patrice Evra has tipped Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as the type of striker Manchester United need to return to top levels of competitiveness.
Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, continues to attract attention across Europe after another strong season with the Turkish champions.
The Nigeria international has previously been linked with several top clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Speaking to Goal, Evra highlighted the importance of having multiple quality strikers in a team competing in multiple tournaments.
He noted that United need more attacking options to consistently challenge for major honours.
Evra added that if he had to choose one player to strengthen the Red Devils’ attack, it would be Osimhen.
“But if I had to name one player, I would say Osimhen because I know he can make a difference,” he said.
