‘Expecting more defeat to APC’ —uzodimma

The Governor of the IMO State, Hope Uzodimma, has predicted that more defeats from members of the opposition party to the Congress of All Progressive (APC) which in turn will increase the chances of winning parties in power in the 2027 general election.

Uzodimma, who is the progressive chairman of the Governor of Forum (PGF), made a vast when giving direction to reporters in Abuja on Saturday after a meeting with political interests from the Delta State after the defector of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Governor Ifeeni Okowa and the majority of top members of the Democles Democles Party (PDMer.

“You can see moving waves and people join and there will be no end for that. You must have heard that our party in Delta grows from power to power,” said Governor IMO.

“The highest point of the party’s situation is that Delta is now almost one party.”

He noted that with the development in Delta, APC will use its internal mechanism to integrate old and new members.

“We must meet to be able to manage this huge success, to ensure that using the mechanism, the internal mechanism of our big party, that we will accept our new members, our new leaders.

“We will then gather as a family to grow the party and support the government in the Delta for the benefit of our people and members of our big party.

“So, I think we are happy with the development and big testimony about the fact that the APC government in Nigeria was admired by many people, if not all and many,” he added.
