The Committee for the allocation account of the Federation (FAAC) shared a total sum of N1,681 trillion of federal advice, states and advice of the local government such as entry of the account of the Federation of April 2025, marking an increase in N103 billion compared to the 1,578 trillion of N1,578 shared in March 2025.
Bawa Mokwa, director of the press and Oagf Public Relations, in a statement, said that the allocation was shared during the Faac meeting of the Faac of May 2025 on Friday in Abuja.
A press release issued by Faac explained that the total distributable revenues of N1,681 trillion included distributable statutory revenues of N962.882 billion, entry to distribution value (VAT) of N598.077 billion of electronic coins (EMTL).

According to the press release, gross legal revenues of N2.084.568 trillion trillion trillion of N2.084.568 were received for the month of April 2025.
The gross revenues of N642,265 billion were available from the value added tax (VAT) in April 2025. This was higher than the N637.618 billion available in March 2025 of N4,647 billion.
The press release stated that from the $ n1.681,228 trillion of total distributable revenue, the federal government received a total sum of N565.30 billion and state governments have received a total sum of N556.741 billion.
The local government council received N406,627 billion, while the sum of N152,553 billion (13% of mineral revenues) was shared with the state of benefit as derivation entrances.
On distributable distribution revenues distributable N962,882 billion, the press release stated that the federal government received N431307 billion and state governments received N218.765 billion.
The advice of the local government received N168.659 billion and the sum of N144,151 billion (13% of mineral revenues) was shared among the states of benefit as derivation revenues.
From the revenue of VAT (VAT) of N598,077 billion of value added taxes (VAT), the federal government received N89.712 billion N89,712, state governments received N299,039 billion and the advice of the local government received n209,327 billion.
A total sum of N5,829 billion was received by the Federal Government by the electronic transfer of N38,862 billion (EMTL). State governments received N19,431 billion and the advice of the local government received n13,602 billion.
From the difference in exchange of N81,407 billion, the press release stated that the federal government received N38.459 billion in N38,459 and state governments received n19.507 billion.
The advice of the local government received N15,039 billion, while the sum of N8,402 billion (13% of mineral revenues) was shared among the states of benefit as derivation revenues.
In April 2025, the tax on oil profit (PPT), oil royalties and gas, electronic money transfer (EMTL), value added tax (VAT), excise duties, duties to import and samples of the CET have increased significantly while the income tax of companies (cit) has decreased considerably.
