False news ignations, Buratai has never been attacked by terrorists – spokesperson

Former head of the army staff and former Nigerian ambassador in the Benin Republic, retired, lieutenant Gen. Tukur Buratatai, rejected the report that was attacked by the terrorists of Boko Haram in Borno.

This is contained in a declaration of his spokesperson and former spokesman for the army, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman on Monday, in Abuja.

Usman described the supreme relationship of the attack on the general as a “mischievous and absolutely false”.

According to him, the former head of the army has not been attacked in any way on the contrary to what has been falsely reported by some online media.

He said: “To avoid doubt, he peacefully celebrated the EID holidays in Abuja in the company of family members, friends and supporters, since then he has remained within the territory of the federal capital.

“This unfounded voice is a product of the reckless imagination of false news suppliers, individuals whose only goal is to defame, spread fear, confusion and disinformation.”

Usman has accused the manufacturers of false news of not only be mischievous but also deeply irresponsible and must be condemned in the strongest terms.

“I sincerely express my heart and profound appreciation to the countless Nigerians, friends, members and patriotic and well -intentioned admirers, who have achieved with authentic concerns, prayers and good will.

“Your overwhelming show of love and support is deeply loved and talks about volumes on the permanent respect and affection that we have the privilege of receiving from all over the country and beyond,” he said.

Usman reminded those who indicated how ports of false news, which the truth would always prevail.

According to him, no quantity of falsity or harmful propaganda can obscure the image of a man who had dedicated his life to the service of this great nation.
